![]() ![]() The last one is Grundig 6099, table model ,brought to Alaska when new from Germany, stayed in one house until the owner past away, now in my possession. My second unit is a Blaupunkt Typ 4421 Arizona, a floor model console with turntable,AM,FM, shortwave with 3 speakers. During the summer, we have the 18-21 hrs daylight so my evening listening doesn't start till about 10:00PM! Since my interest is in shortwave listening, this radio as a battery portable is great to take outdoors and listen to shortwave broadcasts from around the world. turnaround time was no more then 3 weeks from me to him and back. I sent it to a person in Florida who made the repairs. My first unit is a Nordmende Globetrotter from about 1965. This forum has been helpful and if it wasn't for the internet ,I don't think that would be as involved with the hobby as I am. People knew I collect radios and they were offered to me. I have 3 German Radios but I am here in Alaska, so my situation as to how I acquired mine was merely by chance. ![]()
